We are seeking a suitable tenant or tenant couple to run the Three Horseshoes as a community-owned historic inn, located at the gateway to East Anglia.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the village community to develop a thriving and profitable business. This is an exciting opportunity which would suit either an experienced tenant/tenant couple or candidates who are new to the business but can demonstrate potential to succeed in it.
Annual rent will be fixed at £20,000 for the first year, thereafter rising to £25,000 with a rent review after three years. Because the pub is owned by the community we will not seek to exploit our tenant for profit; and because the Three Horseshoes is the only pub in the village will benefit from rural rate relief. The benefit of living accommodation, comprising three bedrooms, lounge and two bathrooms, is included in the annual rent.
